Petite Witch: Pt. 4
Trouble in the Train
Father and Mum drove to King's Cross Station at London an hour before the Hogwarts Express departs. At the back of the car I was squished between my trunk and suitcases, Cocoa was sitting on my lap in an irritable state.
"Have you got your ticket dear?" Mum asked from the driver's seat.
I went through my pockets without trying to make Cocoa more upset. I pulled out the card reading Platform 9 ¾ at 11:00am. "I'm really curious, there is no such thing as Platform 9 ¾ right Mum?"
"You'll see when we get there " Father was holding back a laugh and tried to cover it up with a cough. I could tell Mum was smiling at herself as she continued to drive the Audi. I always tell them to buy a cheaper car that fits into the muggle's society. Father insists that we have the right to show off once in a while without using magic.
At quarter to eleven we finally arrived and Father sorted my belongings in a cart. Cocoa, being the lazy cat she is, sat

The brunette, she introduced herself as Amaya, paid for her wand and placed the box in her satchel.
"Are you excited to be going to Hogwarts?" She asked when Mr. Ollivander left for his lunch break, "Lately that's all I've been thinking about. I was surprised myself when I got accepted!" My face must have pulled off my confused look because Amaya started to explain herself, "I'm a half-blood."
"You mean ?" My brain clicked, "One of your parents is muggle?"
Amaya was leaning against the counter and scratched Cocoa's ears, "You make it sound like it's a bad thing."
"No no, I didn't mean it to insult you!" I shook my hands, "I go to school filled with muggles, I get along with them quite well actually!"
Amaya smiled, "I'm glad to hear that. A lot of wizards and witches don't really care about muggles." Cocoa purred and went to a corner to take a nap. She was getting bored with our conversation. "Anyways " The brunette pulled out a small notebook from her

On the first day of summer vacation and on the job, Mr. Ollivander wasn't at the shop. There was a note on the door: Wandered out for a spell, will return later. Wizards and witches passed by giving me curious glances.
I heard a few passerbies whispering "Is she a Muggle?" I couldn't help but look down at my wardrobe; a simple shirt and denim shorts. All the other magical folk were wearing cloaks and robes of all colors.
My Siamese cat, Cocoa had followed me from my house. She purred and sat beside me. Father gave her to me yesterday at Eeylops Owl Emporium and Magical Menagerie after we had left Ollivanders.
I waited for what seemed like half an hour. I was conflicted in deciding to leave and come back later, or to keep waiting until the old geezer came back where ever he was. Cocoa was getting impatient too. She kept looking up at me as if saying, 'how much longer?' and laying on her back to get a tummy rub.
"Aw man, is it close?" a voice from my

Father was humming happily to himself as we walked down the alley. We passed by shops with names like Flourish and Blotts, Eeylops Owl Emporium and Magical Menagerie, and an ice cream parlor that Father promised me we would come back for a cone when we came back.
"Where else do we need to go?" I asked.
We were passing by the marble building and I noticed a small creature at the top of the stairs.
"Well I've been thinking for a while now that you need to occupy yourself with something during the summer," he talked and waved to a few old time wizards passing by. "An old friend of mine mentioned to me a few years back that he's needed some help around his shop."
We went around a curve and saw a sign hanging to the side South Side Diagon Alley. The buildings looked a lot older and for some reason it gave me the creeps. I saw the building with huge lettering The Daily Prophet, which I assumed was the newspaper stand. More shops like Second-Hand Robes and The Junk Shop wer

Trip to Diagon Alley
Finally at quarter to three the bell rang, a huge wave of middle schoolers came out the doors and went in different directions. It was the last day of the term; everyone was looking foreward to their summer break. I walked down the path and searched for Father through the crowds of my classmates. I was able to notice Father waiting by the curb.He was smiling and lightly kissed my cheeks hello.
"I need to run some errands at London," he said as we walked to a bus station, "Your mother ran out of Flobberworm Mucas and Horklumo Juice for that Herbicide potion she wants to make."
I asked, "So then we're going to that part of London?"
He grinned back, "A good treat for you."
I grinned. Father is a wizard and Mum is a witch. Our house is just as normal as anyone else in the Muggle neighborhood (non magic folk). But my folks are clever and they think it is amusing to have things floating in the halls. Father and Mother are always going to L
